US Adds 19 Nigerians To Deportation List, Total Now 113

The government of the United States has added 19 more Nigerian nationals to its list of foreign citizens scheduled for deportation over criminal convictions, bringing the total number to 113 within three weeks.

Information published on the website of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security indicates that the individuals were convicted of various offences, including sexual assault involving a minor, fraud, assault, drug trafficking and money laundering.

According to U.S. authorities, the affected individuals were arrested by officials of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and are currently undergoing immigration procedures ahead of their removal to Nigeria.

Enforcement Priority On Criminal Convictions

The department described those listed as foreign nationals with criminal records taken into custody as part of ongoing enforcement operations.

Officials also linked the deportation efforts to directives under President Donald Trump, noting that enforcement actions prioritize non-citizens convicted of serious crimes.

Names Of Newly Listed Individuals

Among the newly added Nigerians are Adeolu Solabu, Oladayo Agboola, Chinonso Ochie, Oluchi Jennifer Chimdimma Chime, Samuel Omorodion, Sunday Adediora, Sunday Kunkushi and Mkpouto Etukudoh.

Others include Marcus Unigwe, Kehinde James, Blessing Uchanma, Victor Adebisi, Richard Ugbah, Olaniyi Ojikutu, Oluwamuyiwa Olawoye, Okechukwu Amadi, Femi Jolayemi, Anthony Asanya, Izuchukwu Okoye and Ebele Agbasiele.

Numbers Rise Within Weeks

Earlier reports showed that 79 Nigerians had initially been named for deportation. The addition of 19 more names has pushed the figure to 113, reflecting an expansion of U.S. immigration enforcement actions targeting undocumented migrants and foreign nationals with criminal convictions.
