Former Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has taken legal action against the club, suing them for unpaid wages.
This move comes after City stopped paying Mendy’s £100,000-a-week wages in September 2021, following accusations of sexual offenses.
Mendy has filed a “multi-million-pound claim,” alleging ‘unauthorised deductions from wages’ during his trial.
The claim has recently been submitted to the Employment Tribunal.
