The Life Saver Initiative (LSI) has finalized its plans to conduct an awareness program addressing kidney and liver failure in Kwara State.
Yusuf Salihu, the Founder of this initiative conveyed this information during a telephone interview with Sho Pen Online.
He emphasized that the program’s main objective is to reduce the prevalence of kidney and liver diseases in Kwara State by raising awareness about the associated risks and consequences.
Yusuf expressed concern over the heartbreaking sight of loved ones resorting to social media to seek financial assistance for kidney transplants.
The program is scheduled for the 25th of this month and will be conducted across all 16 local government areas of Kwara State.
