Nigerian music producer Samklef has released photos of two men he claims are hiding Sam Larry, the primary suspect in artist Mohbad’s death. Samklef shared the images on Twitter, asking for public assistance tracking them down.
Larry remains at large after police named him as a person of interest when video emerged showing Larry assaulting Mohbad last year. He fled to Kenya following Mohbad’s unexplained death at age 27.
Samklef is now attempting to apply pressure by exposing Larry’s supposed accomplices. He stated the men were helping to shelter Larry overseas to avoid criminal charges.
The producer urged his followers to share the photos widely and notify authorities. However, he did not reveal how he obtained the identities of the alleged co-conspirators.
Nonetheless, Samklef’s move signals a refusal to let Mohbad’s case go cold despite the key suspect’s continued disappearance. It also suggests an underground effort by industry insiders to gain justice.
