The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic passing of Yusuf Mubarak.
In a condolence message co-signed by the association’s National President, Alh. Abdullahi Babatunde Salau, and the National Publicity Secretary, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunma, they lamented the unfortunate circumstances of Yusuf’s death.
“He lost his life in a distressing encounter with cult members. Yusuf, known for his peaceful and promising nature, as well as his devotion to religion and progress, is remembered with great sadness.” The statement stated
The IEYDA calls upon the state’s security agencies to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators and redouble their efforts to combat the escalating cult-related violence in the region.
They also extend their prayers to Allah, seeking forgiveness for Yusuf’s shortcomings, a place for him in Aljanat Firdaos, and strength for his grieving parents and family to endure this profound loss.”
