The Minister of Sports Development, Sen. John Enoh, provided insight into his decision to move his office to the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. He explained that he made this move to personally oversee activities at the sports center and ensure everything ran smoothly.
Enoh emphasized the significance of the stadium, housing around 90% of sports departments, federations’ secretariats, athletes, and footballers. He believed that by having his office at the stadium, he could better coordinate and monitor sports-related matters.
He also expressed his dedication to two key areas as the Sports Minister: the development of sports, particularly at the grassroots level, and the creation of infrastructure and amenities to nurture talent in underserved communities.
Enoh stressed his commitment to delivering tangible results during his tenure, emphasizing the importance of social inclusion in sports development.
In addition to his office relocation, Enoh conducted inspections of various sports facilities across the country, including the National Stadium in Lagos, as part of his ongoing efforts to assess their conditions.
