The Director General of Salman Shagaya Foundation, Alhaji Muftau Akanbi Oke on Saturday organized Pilgrimage prayer (Ajoyo) for his beloved wife, Hajia Muyibat Muftau Akanbi Oke who just returned from the holy land (Mecca).
Sho Pen Online reports that the prayer which took place at Ode Oke Compound, Omoda Area, Ilorin, was led by Imam of Ode Oke Mosque, Sheik Saheed Olohun Dakun.
The Islamic cleric offered prayers to the pilgrim and his husband, Alhaji Muftau Akanbi Oke, who he described as a man of purpose and that has immensely contribute to the development of his Community.
He also offered prayer to the Chairman, Salman Shagaya Foundation, Alh. Sheriff Shagaya and his brother, Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya who represents Ilorin west/Asa Federal constituency at the federal House of Representatives.
Sheik Saheed prayed for Allah’s blessings and mercies for the duo.
Following the Prayer session, the event continued in a classy reception, where guest were treated to the best of food and drinks.
At the event were, Islamic Clerics, Friends, Family, Well wishers and political associates of Alh. Muftau Akanbi Oke.
