Kylie Jenner accused of 'profiting off a pandemic' by fans as she launches $7 hand sanitiser

Kylie Jenner has divided fans by launching her own hand sanitiser in her eponymous skincare line.

The beauty mogul, 23, who launched Kylie Skin in May 2019, continued to take part in the fight against the coronavirus crisis by releasing the $7 protective item, nine months after donating $1 million to healthcare workers in Los Angeles.

But a few of her social media followers claimed she was 'profiting and capitalising off a pandemic', while others complimented its sleek pink packaging and expressed their excitement over purchasing the product.

Promoting her new drop on Twitter, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star wrote: 'my @kylieskin hand sanitizer is here!! White heart 80% alcohol, fast drying, and formulated with glycerin to prevent dryness!'

Her momager Kris added in a separate post: 'Kylie Skin Hand Sanitizer is here! So many incredible benefits in this product.

'@kyliejenner, I love it! A perfect solution for on-the-go cleansing, formulated with 80% alcohol to purify hands + added glycerin to soothe the skin.'

The sanitizer boasts soft mist, purifying, non-sticky and quick drying features, 80% alcohol and glycerin to help soothe and protect skin from losing its moisture.

Fans also took to the platform to share their thoughts on the unit, with one penning: 'Kylie really made kylie skin hand sanitizer............. like ? Let’s profit off a pandemic.' (sic)

Others added: 'kylie jenner really out here selling HAND SANITIZER as if it’s something special.
